I wonder after the last month of play how many still want a Marky trade? I think sometime in the next two months he will be extended if they can come up with a common price.

Very possible we lose one of them in the expansion draft but I would extend Markstom with the mindset that they will be our goalies for the next 2 years or longer.

Already had you penciled in Doc, Marwood also. I personally wouldn't go forward with Demko as the main guy , he is good but still being groomed IMO.

The whole team (young core) is being groomed - can’t think of 1 good reason to extend Markstrom at his age for the cap it would take plus lose Demko to Seattle and get nothing in return for either.

I like Markstrom, bur Demko is younger and should have more years ahead.

We can't keep both, one has to be moved. maybe not "has", but losing one for nothing is freaking people out and it hasn't even happened yet.

Really tough situation. I think if you're going for playoffs it would be stupid to trade him, but there's no way he wants to play in Seattle so you'd have to extend him with the promise he will be traded before the expansion draft...

No matter what your top priority has to be keeping Demko on track to be this teams starter.

True and losing either for nothing to Seattle would cause traffic chaos at the bridges.
